About
I was born outside of Wilmington, NC in the 1970s, but grew up in the Shenandoah Valley of Virginia.
Interested all my life in art, I moved to Raleigh, NC to attend the College of Design at North Carolina State University.
While in school, I worked at Technician, NC State's student-run newspaper in every position from cartooning to advertising to design to Editor in Chief.
I still contribute a Wolfpack Cartoons editorial illustration every Friday football season during the normal school year.
I currently work as Creative Director for NC State University.
I also designed and illustrated educational (BUT FUN!) digital toys for kids of all ages (most notably "Toontastic") with the good people at Launchpad Toys, based out of San Francisco, California.
In February of 2015, Launchpad Toys was purchased by Google Inc, so now I'm working on all sorts of fun stuff for them!
And of course, I draw lots of cartoons.
